A spokesman for the World Health Organization, Christian Lindmeier, reported out recently that the number of alleged Ebola cases in the Congo had risen. At a United Nations briefing in Geneva, the spokesman stated additionally that no deaths had been reported. Despite this, he added, significant action is being taken in order to prevent potential infections, with a total of 416 people with suspected contact to those diagnosed with Ebola intended to be quarantined and screened for the disease.
