This lesson is great to learn because so many are ill. There are those who let it define them but they usually feel sad and let down. There are things they want to do but they just don’t think they can. It’s better to overcome your illness. It’s better to at least try to do the things you want to do. If you can’t at least you know you tried. Trying is always better than letting illness run your life.
- J.B. McGee suffers from intracranial hypertension, which can cause her intense pain in her temporal lobes, which can lead to ear popping and neck pain.
- McGee finds that her condition can make it very difficult for her to fall asleep.
- The disease also affects her memory, a lapse she tries valiantly, and not always successfully to combat with copious note-taking.
