An international news service reports that an American pharmaceutical company has filed a lawsuit against a South Korean company for violating three of its patents. The American company is asking a court to prevent the South Korean firm from selling a copy of a drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis. The American company’s sales of this product was approximately $5 billion last year. The Korean company’s product is less expensive. The product is selling in Europe.
